KATELYN AND BEAU

Beau and I were married at the incredible Mount William Station, and from the very first time we visited the property, the decision was a complete no-brainer. The beautiful stone arches, perfectly manicured gardens and sweeping hedges immediately set the scene, creating a feeling that was both timeless and intimate — exactly what we had imagined for our day. Every vendor involved was incredible, but our photographer, videographer and content creator were especially amazing, capturing every moment so perfectly.

Having all of our favourite people - our family and closest friends - together in one place meant the absolute world to us and made the day feel incredibly special. Beau and I have been together for 15 years and we are so lucky to share two beautiful children, Charlie (3) and Remi (1), who are truly our whole world.

We are both very relaxed and easy going people, so for a long time getting married was never something we felt strongly about until the engagement happened and we discovered Mount William Station. From that moment it all just felt right. Our family means everything to us, and celebrating with them made it the best day imaginable.

I’m also someone who almost exclusively wears black and usually short dresses, so wearing a white wedding dress was a big moment in itself, which is why a short dress felt perfectly “me.” My sisters stood beside me as bridesmaids, and black dresses were never even questioned. Black is my favourite colour - timeless, simple and elegant - it suited the day perfectly. We actually waited until quite late to choose the bridesmaid dresses as we were holding out for the perfect style that didn’t feel like a traditional bridesmaid dress. Thankfully, TOHJA came through with the goods. The dresses were incredibly flattering and the girls received compliments on them all day.

It was truly such a memorable and special day that we will cherish forever.
